While Michelle and Taz consolidated the delivery work so far on YFF, more or less everyone else was out of the office on holiday.
Another busy week at Open Innovations, with the YFF site going into a pre-live state, the team contributing to a no-code hack, a great first working session with JRF and progress on many more projects. It was, however, an odd week for this May: Monday was not a bank holiday. Normal service resumed next week!
We've finished another sprint, and are spending a bit of time reflecting on and sharing the work we've done. We had a great chat with our sponsors on the Coffee & Cake session, and are making good progress on the JRF and YFF projects

Happy Easter from Open Innoations! Despite a quieter week with some people on holiday, we are halfway through sprint 3 and getting plenty of tickets done, with LSIP, council emissions, Lume charts and data tarns all getting updates and tweaks.

Open Innovations are hiring an experienced technical consultant to join their small team, to do bits of data and code in a flexible and agile way. They have been working on various projects including creating a tool for the UK Parliamentary Digital Service, building a data microsite for LEEDS 2023, and preparing for the next Open Data Saves Lives session. They have also discussed data cleaning and the 80% factoid, and used GPT3 to summarise their year. Get in touch if you're interested!
